It didn't take me long to find my new least favorite workout during my first month of Round 2 of Insanity. Cardio Plyometric Circuit is the new one that has replaced Pure Cardio that I dreaded all last round. Pure Cardio is one of my favorites behind Day 7 which of course is a day of REST! Hahah!
I can't honestly believe that Shaun T and Beachbody decided to put this workout on Day 2 as people just get out of the Fit Test. I think it would really scare people away but if you can get through this workout you can get through the rest of the month! You of course are encouraged to watch your heart rate and take breaks when you need to which I absolutely have to do. I am doing it less often but still taking a break here and there. The thing that gets most tired in this particular workout is my shoulders and arms during the 2nd circuit starting with Level 1 drills, followed by ski abs, then in and outs! Urgh. Those have to be my least favorite as not only do my shoulders start to kill but so do my quadriceps. Killer!
I was able to do the entire first circuit (30 seconds; 4 moves) without stopping the entire 3 rounds so I was very excited about that. I think the main difference is that I am starting this program in the Summer and I normally workout in my office (in a town I rent in) and not in my home which doesn't have central A/C. I could really tell I could perform with a lot more intensity with air! Who woulda thunk? LOL!
Anyway, it was a great workout and I got through it without any injuries. That is always a good deal. Bringing it with Pure Cardio tomorrow morning! Have a great weekend everyone!
I fell in love with Beachbody's home fitness programs P90X and Insanity. Join me in reading about my journey to extreme fitness using these programs. Feel free to jump right in with me and start your own program.

Insanity: A New Round, Starting Again! Am I Insane? Probably!
Hi guys--gosh, I am terrible about staying on top of my blog posts and for that I apologize! I have been so busy building my Team Beachbody business that I have just set this aside for a bit. I haven't been skipping my workouts though which is great news! I just can't bring myself to do that, ever unless of course it is Sunday! I decide that I needed structure again so I decided to start ANOTHER round of Insanity by Shaun T. I thouroughly enjoyed the first round I did last Fall and therefore will do another 60 days of intense cardio conditioning with Mr. Shaun Thompson himself. I love this training style and the way he pushes me to do more than I ever thought possible. I love it!
So, I am behind already on posting my workouts but I promise to do better. I started my new round on Monday, June 7th and am already on Day 4: Cardio Recovery. Don't let the name "recovery" fool you because it is not easy by any means! It is a nice break but definitely not a rest day!
Here are my starting FIT TEST results:
Switch Kicks: 110
Power Jacks: 56
Power Knees: 105
Power Jumps: 11
Suicide Jumps: 15
Push-up Jacks: 22
Low Plank Obliques: 42
There you have it all! Wish me the best of luck and check back often!

SO SORRY; 2010 Beachbody Coach Summit Recap
HI guys!!! I am SO incredibly sorry that I have not been keeping up with my blog lately and with my hybrid program. It is not that I haven't been doing anything trust me! When I posted my last entry, I had decided that since I only had 30 days until the 2010 Beachbody Coach Summit where I had signed up to workout with Shaun T live for 50 minutes that I would do all Insanity workouts to better prepare myself. After 2 weeks of that, I then hurt my back and had to take a week off then another week that was limited activity so I did Core Cardio and Balance that entire week before the event. So, I am so sorry if you have been looking for my updates and have been let down. I promise to get back into writing more about my experiences.
One of my favorite pictures from the 2010 Coach Summit with our team from all over the country but yet derived from our Team Nebraska group Doug and Tammie Fitzgerald. This was directly after the 1.5 hour Super Workout with all trainers including Debbie Siebers (Slim in 6), Shaun T, Tony Horton (P90x), Chalene Johnson(Turbo Jam), Brett Hoebel (RevAbs) and Leandro Calvarho (Brazil Butt Lift). We had such a great time and burned a TON of calories and goo!

So, I do have to tell you a little bit about my trip to Los Angeles, CA last weekend for the Coach Summit and my incredible workout with Shaun T. For those of you who do not know much about Team Beachbody or what we do as coaches, I encourage you to find out. The experiences I have had and the people that I have met are incredible and I know call them my family! I have been to a lot of conventions before only to be let down with incredible bordem and a whole lot of "RA-RA." Being around a 1,000 people who all have the same passions in fitness and health and helping others is just incredible. Meeting all of the trainers like Shaun T, Tony Horton, Chalene Johnson and Brazil Butt Lift to name a few, was simply amazing. We participated in a 1.5 hour Super workout on Friday night with each of the trainers doing about a 10-15 minute workout segment and at the end, I was DEAD tired as I think everyone was! (I could barely walk the next day, Thanks Brett Hoebel from RevAbs).
Saturday included a lot of new product announcements, updates to our compensation plan, and the introduction of the exciting proucts coming out in the next year from Beachbody. (Insanity Asylum & P90Next, yeah!!!) We also were able to sample the new TurboFire workout from Chalene Johnson (Turbo Jam) which will be released the 2nd week of June '10. You will NOT want to miss that workout, trust me! It is amazing and the music is fantastic and so up-beat!
Saturday morning also included the BIG workout with Shaun T (you could pick whoever you wanted to workout with) and it was better than expected! I loved the energy in the room with everyone working out to the hardest workout on the planet and the excitement that Shaun T brings to the workouts. By the time we were done, we all were begging for a break and sweating like CRAZY! It was simply amazing but yes I did have to take breaks and so did most of the crew in the room too. There is nothing better than working out like crazy with a group of people that have the same goals, dreams and aspirations that you do. High fives all around!!! Loved it and can't wait till next year's event which will be even better! Team Beachbody is going places you guys and I invite you to learn more about what we do and how you can get paid to workout and help others reach their goals! Contact me for details! I'd love to share with you!

Day 44: Insanity's Max Interval Circuit
Because I am in my last few days of training before my LIVE workout with Shaun T at the end of April at the Beachbody Coach Summit, I decided to up my cardio workouts from Insanity from Month 1 to Month 2 workouts. Today would normally have been Pure Cardio during my 6th week of this program but I decided to up the "ante" for this workout. I ventured out and decided to do Max Interval Circuit training instead! I have never sweated that much I don't think but I loved every minute of it. You begin with a 9 minute warm-up just as in month 2 but this time the exercises are different (awesome) and they are longer (45 seconds instead of 30 seconds) They do progressively get a little less in duration towards the end of the 3rd set of warm-ups but it is still crazy! I was dog tired even before the darn "actual workout" started. A little nervous....
During Month 1 you will do 2 circuits each with about 4 different exercises for 30 seconds a piece. You do each circuit 3 times each but during Month 2 in Max Intervals you have 3 circuits each lasting 45 seconds as well. There were a lot of new moves that I hadn't done for awhile during my first round of Insanity and I probably wasn't pushing myself enough but I actually couldn't LOL! My arms and legs were so dead by the time I was done. Overall, I think I may have left everything on the "floor" this time and I loved every minute of it.

Day 20: Insanity Pure Cardio
Insanity Pure Cardio is everything that the name describes it to be. I finished this workout with a face as red as a tomato and a million sweat beads dripping off my face. Even with all of this, I had a great time kicking my own tail with Shaun T. He is a great motivator and I enjoy working out with him and the rest of the crazies on the DVD. I unfortunately wasn't able to make it through all of the workout series for the entire minute but I tried to do at least 30 seconds for sure before I had to take a break.
Pure Cardio starts with a 9 minute warm-up (that almost could be a workout in itself), followed by a quick stretch. After 30 seconds following the stretch it is time to get busy. I could list all of the exercises but it starts with suicide drills and ends with jack push-ups so you figure out if it gets any easier in the middle. Ha! Some other drills include power jacks, switch kicks, wide-stance football stance, and the ever so fun Level 2 drills. wowza. If you have energy after that one you truly are Insanely cardio crazy! I hope that this workout continues to get easier for me as I believe it will.
I am happy I have a rest day before starting my 4th week of this P90X Insanity Hybrid program's recovery week. I am thrilled with the changes in my body thus far and have really enjoyed the past 3 weeks.
Ready to get started with me? It is never too late. Just let me know!

Day 11: Shoulders & Arms, RevAbs Mercy Abs
A lifting day, finally! I love to lift weights especially my arms and shoulders so I was really excited about today's workout. I know, I am addicted if I get that excited but it always leave me feeling super afterwards! A sense of accomplishment. Today was really just about like last week other than I added a few more repetitions to my chair dips as well as my side-tri rises. Does anyone else feel the side-tri rises in their abdomen as well? I sure do but that is probably a good thing. I need all of the help that I can get in that department. Today I also did 20 minutes of Cardio from RevAbs, Rev It Up and then for Abs instead of Ab Ripper X, I did RevAbs, Mercy Abs. That is a simple yet effective workout and I definitely felt the burn following that 15 minute ab routine. What a great workout day! See you tomorrow!

Day 10 P90X and Insanity Hybrid: Plyometric Cardio Circuit
Urggh..the dreaded Insanity Plyometric Cardio Circuit workout. I actually have a hard time getting myself pumped up for this one because it still quite a challenge for me but I DO IT anyway! Once I get past the warm-up, I am fine but today it seemed to drag a bit more than usual. About the time I get to the basketball jumping drills I am beat and ready to quit but Shaun T. does such a fantastic job of keeping me motivated to keep going and do my best, and forget the rest! Thanks Tony Horton for that saying. I definitely am so thankful for the P90X Workout Recovery drink because that stuff saves my muscles and my body from complete and utter soreness. Each day gets a little better, until of course Pure Cardio. Then, I want to quit all over again but I do it ANYWAY! I love this combination as you get strength, cardio, and flexibility everyday. Tomorrow is Shoulders & Arms, and Ab Ripper X. I absolutely love that workout. Bring it everyone!
